Day 12:
11.30 am Sunday Morning- Tired
but relieved, no new
spots and although I look
a tad frightening my life
is resuming some
normality. I have been
off medication for the
last 2 days and had my
first beer last night.
Don't get me wrong, I am
not full of the joys of
spring and the after
effects have left me
washed out. I am tired
and physically drained.
Doing anything demanding
still leaves me feeling
hot and flustered. |

Handsome
Again! |
|
| |
| My plan is to take
the next few days easy and return
to work towards the end of the
weekKk. |
| |
| 14.30 am Sunday
Afternoon - A relatively funny
experience today, walked around
the shops for the first time.
Many people were not sure how to
take me. I wished now I had gone
out a week ago at the highlight
of this ordeal. People would have
run a mile. However, that would
of course have been very
irresponsible. |
| |
| I must say that
this has been an ordeal that has
now come to an end. I actually
feel as if i have been very
unwell. I remember the words of
my doctor when I first saw him.
'Unlucky' was his contribution.
He was right. |
| |
| There was nothing
else he could have done or said.
In many respects I consider
myself fortunate, fortunate that
I get this virus now and not in
another 30 years time when the
consequences of course can be
much more serious. |
| |
| Conclusion |
| |
| It is not
everyones cup of tea to bare
their sole to the internet, but I
thought that this may give a
practical, open and honest
insight into Adult Chickenpox. If
you are suffering, hopefully you
can relate to this experience and
hopefully this site may reduce
some of your concerns. Remember,
there is a light at the end of
the tunnel. |
| |
| My regards and
best wishes to you. |
|
| |
| As
a result of great feedback I have
received, I have |
| set
up a new forum for you to share
your experiences. |
